Barossa’s best kept secret: winegrower and winemaker: Stan!
He’s is fiercely independent and true to his winemaking philosophy: no chemicals in the vineyard; nothing added, nothing taken away in the winery. The Mill About wines have no additions, no artificial yeasts, no added sulfites at any point and no fining or filtration. They’re wines made the natural way and aged in old oak.
You won’t see Stan marketing his wines out and about all that much – he is busy in the vineyard and in the winery – growing the healthy grapes that go into the making those truly unique wines. The expression of terroir is genuine and truthful in Stan’s wines – they contain only the grapes grown on the estate.
